I’d like to share with you another powerful business attraction concept.
When I first started in the financial services business 13 years ago, being at very young age for that kind of a business, I was happy that anyone would see me.
I wasn’t focusing on trying to get some big accounts. If someone simply opened an account with me, and invested $25 a month, I was excited.
Of course as time went on, I moved on to bigger accounts. But the habit of providing good service regardless whether the person had invested a lot of money or little stayed with me.
Over the years, a lot of the people who originally started with small amounts with me, invested a very significant amounts of money.
As a matter of fact in all of my career, some of the best and biggest customers came from these small initial accounts.
Very recently I had a client who moved over a $100,000 with me. He already has a significant account with me as well. After my meeting with him, I remembered how years ago, I came to see him and his wife, probably 10 or 11 years ago, to open 2 small retirement accounts. There was a snow storm that day, because I remember getting stuck in that driveway. This recent transaction took less than 1 hour of my time, including the drive to and from, and I made more money than most people make in a month.
I have many stories like that, and here are 2 points on this.
One is that you treat everyone as you like to be treated no matter how small of a customer they are.
When I started in the information marketing business, I applied the same philosophy here as well. And I have customers who spent maybe $20 with me initially, but later on came back and spent hundreds more.
Also, when sow, you will reap. No action goes unnoticed. You maybe in the planting season right now, but I assure you that your rewards are coming.
