It’s not often that I drive very early in the morning, but today I had to go to the airport, and was on the road at 6am.
The traffic was pretty heavy, and most people would complain how long it took. But I couldn’t help it, I was excited.
What’s all this talk about recession, sky falling down, the dollar is dropping in value, oil and gold are at all time high, the real estate and the mortgage meltdown, foreclosures are up, blah blah blah ….
So where are all these people going?
Where are they living?
How are they paying for their new cars, and putting gas in them?
Don’t listen to the news. Don’t watch CNN. Don’t listen to the so-called experts.
All that does is clutter your mind.
I’m looking at all these people on the road, thousands and thousands, and that’s just in my city.
They’re all going to work. They’re making money. They’re spending money. They have kids, and they spend money on them. Just look at this amazing market.
When you listen to the propaganda, it makes you focus on lack, limitation, and struggle.
I look at this amazing market, and all I see is possibilities. And you get what you see.
Not to long ago, I had a business owner tell me that business isn’t that great, and it was said as if he’s expecting it. How else could it be, we live in Detroit, the economy in this city is bad, the big three are laying people off left and right …. etc.
Actually, I’ve had a bunch of people tell me that. But, yet I know a lot of business people that are kicking butt right now. I have a friend in the printing business, doing business with other businesses, right here in the same city, and he’s more busy than ever.
There’s a restaurant owner that I know, who’s business is thriving, in the city that is supposedly in recession.
I came from a business meeting today, and met a gentlemen there, who has multiple businesses. One of his recent ventures, is he was looking for some specific information online, and all he could find were a few books, and nothing else. He did some research, and decided to record an instructional video on the topic. He developed 2 DVD’s, and selling them on ebay and his website. He gets several orders a day. 95% + profit margin.
How are these people doing it?
I know one thing for sure. All these people have at least one thing in common, they see opportunities where others don’t.
So, here are a couple questions you can ask yourself.
How can I provide more value to my existing customers?
How can I add even more value to more people in other areas?
When you train your mind to see opportunities, that is exactly what you’re going to attract into your life.
I choose to believe that I am a magnet for great opportunities and abundance.
And encourage you to do the same.
