I always get a kick out of people who say that these are tough times and it’s hard to make money.
Some people don’t just come out and say that, but they definitely think it. I know because every time I hear someone say that they’re just trying to make a buck or that they’re just trying to survive, I know that it’s exactly what they’re attracting.
Making little money, struggling, surviving, etc….
The opportunities that exist today are incredible and they’re everywhere.
Look at the huge opportunities that exist because of the 76 million (that’s US only) baby boomer generation.
All these people need to talk to someone about their money. There’s a growing health insurance need. Long term care planning.
How about travel, the need to downsize their home, or possibly a move down south or maybe a vacation home.
This presents opportunities in the financial services industry, investments, insurance. The travel industry. Real estate.
But baby boomers aren’t the only contributing factor. What about all the people with pets, there are many needs that these pet owners are facing and are actively looking to solve them.
The technology is changing all the time and the opportunities within the tech industries are growing all the time.
How about sports. How many sports fanatics are out there that are gladly spending money on things that they think will enhance their experience or make them better.
The opportunities are the biggest where you can provide the most value to people.
So you always have to be thinking value. What can I do to provide value for people?
Another huge opportunity to make money is by providing information that people are looking for.
You can develop information products around each of the areas listed above.
People that are passionate about their hobbies or have a very pressing need are always looking for solutions to whatever those problems are.
You could provide them with a solution within your product.
I remember when I was looking for information for the first time about affiliate marketing, I came across an interesting ebook. It was $47, and I gladly paid for it, but information in it made me thousands of dollars.
That’s just one example.
If you’re an avid golfer, would you pay for an ebook or a set of videos that can teach you how to improve your swing?
Sure you would, lots of people do everyday.
One information marketer is making millions of dollars right out of his house, marketing martial arts information products.
Information marketing is a very large and a very broad industry.
If you think of Nightingale-Conant, they’re in the information marketing business.
Tony Robbins, Zig Ziglar, Tom Hopkins, Brian Tracy, Jim Rohn, Bob Proctor, are all known as trainers and speakers, but guess what, they’re all in the information marketing business.
There isn’t a subject out there that you couldn’t have an information product for.
So if you’re looking to add another stream of income, or start a lucrative online or offline business information marketing is a great option.
