One very important thing to keep in mind when dealing with people is that they will only make a decision to do business with someone when they feel comfortable.
To get people to feel comfortable, one thing you can do is mirror them. If they speak slowly try to do the same, and if they speak fast then pick up your pace as well.
It’s about being in the same vibration as your prospect. We’ve all had the experience of not doing something because it doesn’t feel right. That means you’re not in vibrational harmony with the idea or the person. So to get people in vibrational harmony with you try to be more like them.
People like to do business with someone they can relate to. If you’re in personal sales you can accomplish that by asking people questions and getting them to talk about themselves.
But this isn’t just for direct sales. Your marketing pieces and your website sales pages can do that as well. Though it isn’t as simple as mirroring people, but if you know WHO your target audience is, it’s easier to relate to them, because you can speak their language and relate to their challenges in your marketing and advertising communication.
