I was looking at a site yesterday and it had a poll asking people what kind of feelings they were experiencing during the holiday season.
Interestingly and yet disappointing is that only 33% said they felt happy, excited, and can’t wait, while 44% said that they felt stressed about money. The rest were frustrated or dreaded meeting with the family and things like that.
Now I don’t know for sure how many people actually participated in the survey, but it’s a pretty popular site, and the fact that 44%, almost half, said that they’re stressed about money, clearly reflects their attitude and their internal state.
The reason they’re stressed is because they feel like they don’t have enough, and yet the truth is that they don’t have enough because of how they feel.
This time of year, it’s time to be grateful for what you have. Actually you should be grateful everyday, and you will have more things to be grateful for. This should be an exciting time of the year, and one should look at all the opportunities that are there, and not think of not having enough.
If you think abundance you will have abundance, and if you think lack you will have lack.
