It’s been a hectic week. We closed on a new house, and there’s a bit of remodeling that needs to be done, so I’m running around negotiating with contractors and so forth.
But here’s what I’d like to share.
If you’ve been following my blog and have listened to my course on “Attract More Business In 7 Days”, then you know I’m big on the power of your imagination and putting that to work for you.
I firmly believe that whatever you program into your subconscious mind is exactly what you’ll receive, and the speed at which you attract it, will be based on how much resistance (mental blocks) you’re putting up.
The house that we just purchased, I’ll use attracted, has been on my wife’s and my mind for quiet some time.
When we decided that it’s time that we want to move, I immediately got a picture of the kind of house that I want and put it on my vision board.
I looked at it daily, thinking about the rooms, the hardwood floors, the new carpet in the bedrooms. I thought about my office, how it’s going to look, the furniture, the kitchen with granite counter tops.
In other words, I had a very clear picture of what I wanted.
We started looking for a house a month ago, and this one was the 2nd one we looked at. However, because it needed some remodeling, I didn’t quiet see it immediately as the house that I wanted. We then saw a bunch of homes, but in the end, when all was said and done, we came back to this one.
Once I started picturing, new paint, new floors, and furniture, it almost perfectly (though not completely), but very closely matched the picture.
I had red brick house in my picture, and this one is red brick. I had 4 bedrooms, and a den, with living room, dining room, and a family room, in my picture house. But we decided that we really don’t need this many rooms, and we were looking for less, BUT this house that we ended getting, has 4 bedrooms, a den, a living room, dining room and a family room. And the kitchen is huge, with granite counter tops.
I’m not writing this post to tell you about my house, although I am excited, and once we’re done with remodeling I’ll put some pictures up on the blog, but the point I’m making is that putting pictures of the things you want, works.
It’s worked for me before, and once again I attracted the perfect house, in a perfect neighborhood, with everything that I wanted. And, for a great price, about $125,000 less than what it was 3 years ago. Now I know that the real estate is down right now, but the thing is that I attracted the perfect home at a perfect time for me.
Even the remodeling that we need to do, the hardwood floors, I’m getting at wholesale price. The carpet, I’m getting at wholesale price. Even the paint, I’m getting at wholesale price, and paying way less than the market average for the labor. Now isn’t that abundant?
I’ve had some other amazing things happen this week, that opened up new doors of opportunity, new business ventures, more tools for growing my business. And all these things kind of just landed into my lap, so to speak.
I can go on and on, but I want to once again emphasize the importance of being clear about what you want. It may not happen right away, but don’t force it. The power of your subconscious mind working with your imagination will produce amazing things for you.
All you have to do is ask and expect.
