Ebay Disaster, And How Creativity And Your Attitude Can Turn It Into An Advantage . . .
April 1st, 2008 Vitaly Grinblat
Last week Ebay announced something that shocked a lot of people. They’re discounting the sales of any digital download products. Now at first that was a shock to most people, and still is.
There are sellers that all they have is digital download items, that means that their business is gone overnight. I myself, have quiet a few products that are completely digital and are only available by download.
At first, my initial reaction was just like everyone else’s. I was shocked, disappointed and somewhat upset at the whole situation.
But then I quickly asked myself, what good can come out of this?
And after pondering for sometime here’s what I came up with. Read the rest of this entry »

Some Food For Thought . . .
March 15th, 2008 Vitaly Grinblat
Today I was playing outside with my 5 year old daughter, and she wanted to get the frisbee out of the garage. After looking for it for a minutes, I told her that I couldn’t find it and that we’ll do it at another time.
She looked at me and said, you can’t stop looking for it just because you can’t find it. You have to keep looking for it as long as it takes until you do find it, right?
Now what can you say to that?
She was absolutely right. She was determined to find the frisbee.
Now isn’t that a great lesson from a 5 year old or what?
How often in life and in business do you stop because there’s an obstacle in the way, and what’s more important, is what kind of a message do you send to your children when you do that?
This is something to think about it and more importantly develop into a habit. If you begin a task, complete it. Persistence is one of the keys to success in life. And wouldn’t it be great if kids were taught that early on from their parents. Just think how much easier life would be for them, and how much more doors would open.

Do You Say This When You Talk To Yourself?
March 2nd, 2008 Vitaly Grinblat
Our attitude towards money has big effect on how much money we attract. In the years that I’ve spent in the financial services industry, I’ve sat down with more than a thousand people, one on one.
I would normally begin to talk about what’s important to them and what goals and dreams they have so we can develop a plan to accomplish them. And often when asking questions about their dreams and what they would like to have, I would hear remarks such as: Read the rest of this entry »

How Do You Feel About What You Do?
February 29th, 2008 Vitaly Grinblat
Can you really love what you do and make lots of money?
I believe you can. As a matter of fact, I believe that it’s a prerequisite for a successful enterprise. There are some people that say you don’t have to love what you do. That if the payoff is big, and it’s going to get you the financial rewards, it will be worth it.
Have you become a victim to that thought?
I’m not suggesting that you don’t go after the money and financial rewards. As a matter of fact, I think you should be money motivated. It’s ok to want to be wealthy. But how you choose to get there will determine how fast it will take.
I believe you have to feel good about what you do. You can’t feel negative about your job or business, not enjoy the process, and expect great things to happen. That’s not the way to live a fulfilled life. You need to be passionate about something. If you don’t enjoy what you’re doing, then why are you doing it?
For the money?
Ok, then is it possible Read the rest of this entry »

10 Traits To Make You Filthy Rich . . . I Disagree
February 18th, 2008 Vitaly Grinblat
In a recent article I saw on big financial website, there was a list of 10 traits that make you filthy-rich.
Here they are:
1. Patience - being patient while saving and accumulating money
2. Satisfaction - being satisfied with what you have so you don’t spend money on things you see in commercials that you think will make you feel/look better
3. Organization – being organized for higher productivity
4. Discipline – to continue saving for more long-term goals
5. Reflectiveness – being able to reflect on the results of your financial decisions, both good and bad.
6. Creativity – during unexpected events, when the economy and our earnings don’t match. Learning to juggle money, and to make something last longer.
7. Curiosity – having curiosity helps you learn, study and improve yourself.
8. Risk-Taking – to build wealth one needs to be willing to take risks.
9. Goal-Oriented
10. Hard- and Smart-Working
Ok, for the most part I agree with the concept that your attitude towards money will determine your success.
However, there are few things that I absolutely disagree with.
First, why do we need to address Read the rest of this entry »

What Are Your Expectations?
February 9th, 2008 Vitaly Grinblat
The speed at which our desires manifest depends on how much resistance we put up.
Resistance?
That’s right. We need to allow the attraction process to manifest our desires, by removing any resistance, which are thoughts of doubt and fear. Any thoughts that we have that cause us to worry, or fear, or doubt, create the energy of resistance which blocks the attraction process.
Let’s say you’re looking for a new house, you put up the images, you think about it, and imagine what it would be like to live in this house, and you stir up all these positive emotions. But then you start having thoughts of doubt, how am I going to afford this house, and you start worrying. These thoughts hinder any progress that and put up resistance to positive energy you’ve created.
Another cause of resistance, is trying too hard to figure out how it’s going to happen. Trying to figure out how you’re going to make more money, or how you’re going to afford this house, or the car, or how you’re going to get more business, get new customers, blocks the energy flow. Your focus shifts from your desire to trying to figure it out.
There are infinite number of ways that the Universe can attract to you the things you’re looking for. But you need to allow that energy to flow, by removing all the resistance and blocks.
Our job is not to figure out how it’s going to happen. We simply need to state the intention and create the feeling of knowing that it’s on it’s way. Faith is a powerful emotion, and when you have faith that you will get what you’re seeking, then the manifestation process is well on it’s way.
So the next time you set a goal of achieving something, create the feeling that you’re certain it’s going to happen, and that expectation will create it for you.
We all live up to our own expectations. What are you expecting?

How You Feel Dictates Your Income
December 30th, 2007 Vitaly Grinblat
A few days ago, I got a phone call from a business associate that I deal with from time to time.. This guy at first always seems upbeat and positive (at first). But when you ask him how’s everything, his reply is always, just trying to make a living.
And you know what, that’s exactly what he does. He just makes a living. Always has to get an extra part time job to make ends meet. His clients are always problem clients. He always has to run around and chase them to get anywhere. (I’m using his vocabulary)
I can go on and on, but you get the picture. Is it any wonder he gets these clients and he ends up in these situations? Not at all. Anytime I try to tell him all the great things that are happening and what he should be focusing on, he tells me how he doesn’t have enough money for this and then the kids, and blah blah blah.
It’s his choice to see his situation that way. And it’s always up to all of us what we choose to focus on.

6 Steps From Napoleon Hill
December 23rd, 2007 Vitaly Grinblat
This is my favorite time of year. As the year comes to an end, and the holiday spirit is in the air, I’ve always taken this time to reflect on the passing year, and set my goals for the next one.
As we’re getting ready for the New Year, take this time to be grateful for all the wonderful things that you’ve experienced this year, and set some big goals for 2008.
As a business person I feel excited about the fact that I can dictate how much money I make. If I was working for a corporation, setting a goal to double my income next year, or even a bigger goal than that, wouldn’t really matter. But if you own your own business, you decide what your paycheck is going to be.
On page 36 of “Think and Grow Rich”, Napoleon Hill goes over the 6 steps Read the rest of this entry »

What You Say To Yourself, Matters
December 20th, 2007 Vitaly Grinblat
I was in a grocery store today, and overheard a conversation between a mother and her teenage daughter. The daughter grabbed some sour cream and her mom, in a very demeaning voice said, “Is this the cheapest they have, or did you grab the most expensive?”
I didn’t stick around for the rest of the conversation, as I didn’t want to get caught up with these thoughts anymore than I had to, but I could help to think about this situation.
How often do parents talk to their children about money this way? And what does this do to that child’s thinking about money and abundance? Also, it is obvious the way this person talks to themselves, and what’s going on in their mind, as it relates to business, money, opportunities, and abundance.
No wonder these people have what they have financially. What would this have to do with business? In my opinion, Read the rest of this entry »
