This Guy Just Got Out Jail, So Why Did I Give Him A Dollar?
May 31st, 2008 Vitaly Grinblat
I went to the County City Hall yesterday for filing a quit claim deed.
A rough looking man approached me asking me for 75 cents, telling me he just got out of jail, and had no money for even a bus fair to get home.
He asked a bunch people before me and no one even stopped, I kind of tried blowing him off, telling him I had no change, which I didn’t, to which he responded, well do you have a dollar bill.
So I stopped, and within just a couple of seconds, I thought to myself:
1. This guy is good, I wanted to blow him off, because I had no change, but he gave my mind a very specific command, by asking for a dollar bill, which honestly I wasn’t even thinking off.
He was very clear in what he wanted, and there’s a great marketing lesson there. If you want your prospect to give you something or think of something, then be very specific about it, don’t assume they will, because the brain only understands specific commands.
2. Ok, more importantly, I thought, a dollar bill will not make any difference in my life. But this poor guy, who I have no idea what his story, and it doesn’t really matter, but he does need it.
He needs a bus fair to go home. And with one measly dollar, I can help him at least a little.
So I turn around and hand him a dollar bill.
You should have seen the look on his face.
This big guy, probably 6’3, Read the rest of this entry »

Red Wings Are In The Finals, There’s A Clue There . . .
May 23rd, 2008 Vitaly Grinblat
The Red Wings are in the finals, FINALLY. For those of you that don’t follow hockey, that’s a Detroit team. Anyway, if they just think about winning, and how great it would be to hold the Stanley Cup again, but don’t take any shots, NOTHING will happen. They have to go and play, and play great, in order to win.
Even though the Law of Attraction is about how you think and feel, there’s another important ingredient. And that is Action.
Yes, action is part of the attraction. Even though it’s the last part of the formula, it comes after your thoughts and all of the mental processes you go through, there’s still action required.
Too many people in my opinion got caught in this thinking that The Secret is to think about what you want and it’ll happen.
Nothing happens without action. This is where the rubber meets the road.
However, without first mentally preparing and putting a lot of thought into their game, they can’t expect victory either.
The Law of Attraction isn’t about doing, it also isn’t about thinking.
It’s about a process, which starts with your THOUGHTS and FEELINGS and leads you to ACTION. Your action needs to be a natural part of the process. Not gritting your teeth, making yourself do something you don’t want to do because you HAVE TO. You do it because you’re inspired.
When you’re acting from inspiration, then you know you’re on the right track.
You can always tell by how you FEEL, not by whether it makes sense or not.
It takes time to be able to really know and understand how your emotions can guide you to success.
Your feelings or emotions serve as your inner guidance system.
In short, if it FEELS right, then it must be, and if it doesn’t it’s probably not.
But when you get a nudge, an inner feeling that you should do something, you feel inspired to take action, this is where magic happens. You’re now acting from your desire and not from your will or your logic.
Often doors of opportunity swing wide open in front of people, but they were too busy waiting for the right moment to act, and then . . .
. . . it’s gone. That window was only open for a short period, motivation disappears and they’re back to square one, thinking to themselves, well that probably wouldn’t of worked, there’s a better way . . .
Sounds familiar?
So take the time to really identify how you feel, and pay attention the next time you get inspired to do something, this a clue, that it’s time to get moving, because the big wave of success is coming.
The question is will you catch it?

How To Stay Focused In An Unfocused World, Part 3 (My Most Effective Technique…)
May 22nd, 2008 Vitaly Grinblat
In this 3rd and final part of the How To Stay Focused … theme, I want to share with you my most effective method for being energetic, focused, and on top of my game.
It’s really simple you know.
I’ll share it with you in a minute…
But before, I’d like to point out something that is obvious and yet often overlooked by so many people.
And that is that we’re constantly exposed to the influence of the society and the media. Check out the headline from yesterday’s home page of CNN Money Site:
“Out of a job and out of luck at 54 - A growing number of older workers are losing their jobs as the economy weakens. And many are having a harder time landing new positions . . . ”
What kind of crap is that?
I understand that people are getting laid off, and companies are downsizing, but does that mean that if you’re in your 50’s and you get laid off, that your life is over?
You’re out of luck?
Some of the other headlines were:
- Oil soars to settle above $133
- Dollar sinks as Fed forecasts weakness
- Mortgage applications drop 7.8%
- Record gas prices: 14 straight days
- Reverse mortgages: Beware the come-ons
And my favorite one -
“Consumers can’t save the economy” - Americans are too deep in debt to lead the economy into a recovery, according to a new forecast. The result: The recovery will be a bit slower.
Now, just reading this list can make you depressed, don’t you agree?
Now you might be saying, ok I don’t really read stuff like this.
Well, someone does, because it’s 50th most visited site in the world. That means that tens of thousands of people get on this site, and the first thing they see is these headlines.

How To Stay Focused In An Unfocused World, Part 2
May 15th, 2008 Vitaly Grinblat
I’d like to pick up where I left off yesterday and get a little more specific about staying focused.
We talked about the power of your subconscious mind staying focused on the things you need to do by programming it with a specific objective you’re trying to reach.
Napoleon Hill called it your Major Definite Purpose, in “Think and Grow Rich”.
In the 2nd part of this post, I’d like to share with you what helps me stay even more focused.
There’s Pareto Principle of 80/20, that states that in life we get 80% of the results from 20% of the efforts. It can be applied in other areas, like 80% of your sales come from 20% of the sales people. Or 80% of your profits come from 20% of your customers, and so forth.
As it relates to our topic, I’d like to point out, that we get 80% of productivity from the 20% of the activities that we do.
So to help stay focused on the specific things that you need to do, it’s good to also prioritize your activities. I make a list of things that need to get done, and then circle the ones that I personally need to do and that are the most important.
In my case, it would be marketing and promotion. The other things still need to get done, but they’re not as important, and also some could be delegated or outsourced for someone else to do.
It also helps to keep a list of things in front of you. For example. If you’re marketing with writing articles online as part of your strategy, then it’s good to keep a list of all these directories on top, in one place, so you don’t have to search for them, as it could get extremely time consuming. Or if you’re doing social networking, and you have a bunch of sites you need to go to, you can do the same.
Copywriters also keep a swipe file of letters and ads near the top of their pile, so they can refer to it easily.
The point is, that whatever your most important activities are, get a little organized and keep everything in one place.
I know that it may not seem like a big deal, but trust me, it’s a HUGE time saver and it also helps you stay focused on the project you’re doing, instead of focusing your energy on constantly looking for all the things you need.
Please feel free to share your thoughts and ideas on what you do to stay focused.

How To Stay Focused In An Unfocused World
May 14th, 2008 Vitaly Grinblat
Most people just run around having no sense of where they’re going and what they’re trying to accomplish, in the big scheme of things.
For a long time I thought that focus was something you needed to really work on and be extremely persistent with. At least that made sense to me.
Here’s what I believe about that today. Your focus will come from your subconscious mind, automatically, without you having to force yourself to do it, when you put the right programming into it.
If you subconscious mind doesn’t have a specific target it’s going after, it will still go after something, but it may not be what you consciously want.
So let’s say you want to make a $100,000 a year. You focus on it, you write down your goals, and for a while you become focused doing the things you need to do to accomplish that.
But then Read the rest of this entry »

This Is How Wealth Is Created
May 8th, 2008 Vitaly Grinblat
One of the most revealing things I found out years ago is that how we feel about others in sales effects your ability to attract money and success.
Since everything is attracted to us at an energetic level, then our most dominant thoughts and attitudes act as activating forces to what we attract.
When you’re in a situation where someone is selling something to you, what’s your initial response?
Is it one of irritation – “… oh there goes another salesman …” or something like that?
A lot of people get irritated by sales people, telemarketers, and anyone who tries to sell anything.
For years I sold insurance and investments, and was recruiting people into that industry. And often I would here people say something like, “I never want to be in sales” or “I don’t want to be pushy and try to sell something to people”, or “I don’t want to work on commission because then I’m not acting in the best interest of the people”, and so on …
What these people don’t realize is that, sales is great. If it wasn’t for sales, no one would have a job, because companies wouldn’t make any money.
Also, if someone is selling something, and promoting their products or their business, even if you’re not interested, why is that bad?
When you have an attitude that you don’t like sales people, you take on the attitude and mindset that you don’t like companies marketing and promoting themselves, and what kind of a message are you sending to the Universe?
Is it one of lack or abundance?
There’s a great saying in one of my favorite books, “The Secrets of the Millionaire Mind” – ‘… the way you do anything, is the way you do everything …’
The way you feel about others in sales, is the way you feel about sales and business, and that transfers over to YOUR business and what you attract.
Every time you’re in a sales situation you need to get excited about the fact that there’s an exchange of money going on, this is what the free enterprise system is all about.
Let me give you an example from my life.
As you may have already read in my posts, I just Read the rest of this entry »

Why He Hates Going To Walmart
May 6th, 2008 Vitaly Grinblat
Recently I got a great email from one of the newsletters I subscribe to. The person was describing how much he hates going to Walmart.
Now before you get all bent out of shape, try to understand his logic. The reason he despises going to Walmart, is because most of the people who shop at Walmart are usually scraping pennies. They’re cutting coupons, trying to save as much as possible. The whole idea of that store is about saving money. And he wants nothing to do with that type of mentality, nor surround himself with those type of people.
It was a pretty long email, but here are my thoughts on it. First of all, I personally don’t despise Walmart, however I completely agree with his thinking in terms of trying not to put yourself where you’re surrounded by others who are consistently in the poverty mindset.
For me it’s Big Lots. My wife loves going to Big Lots, because sometimes she finds a good deal on something good there, but me, I never walk into that store, because it depresses me. The people that shop there, and the attitudes that I see. And I don’t want to feel depressed. To me that’s more important than saving a couple of bucks.
Now there’s nothing wrong with those people, but when you’re constantly putting yourself in a situation where you’re surrounded by others who have lack and limitation as their dominating attitudes about money, how do you think it effects you?
If you think it doesn’t, think again. The saying ‘birds of a feather flock together’ is very true. Thoughts are energy. And when you’re around people who have those thoughts, and are sending those types of low frequency vibrations, you are picking that up and it is effecting how you think and feel.
This post isn’t about Walmart or Big Lots, and not about judging what kind of people shop there. This is about becoming aware of your environment and guarding your thoughts.
You ever notice when you walk into some stores, you feel good and empowered, and then you walk into others, and you feel a little out of place. That feeling tells you that there’s a mismatch with the vibrations that are around you. And if you constantly put yourself in situations where the vibrations around you are not what you’re after, then why put yourself in that situation?
There’s nothing wrong with coupons and discounts. However, what kind of vibration are you sending out when cutting coupons and pinching pennies.
The last thing I want to do is tell anyone how to live and what choices they should make.
BUT, when you set big goals and objectives for yourself, and you’re after creating abundance in your life, then be careful what you allow to go into your mind and who you let effect your energy level.

How I Attracted The Perfect House
May 3rd, 2008 Vitaly Grinblat
It’s been a hectic week. We closed on a new house, and there’s a bit of remodeling that needs to be done, so I’m running around negotiating with contractors and so forth.
But here’s what I’d like to share.
If you’ve been following my blog and have listened to my course on “Attract More Business In 7 Days”, then you know I’m big on the power of your imagination and putting that to work for you.
I firmly believe that whatever you program into your subconscious mind is exactly what you’ll receive, and the speed at which you attract it, will be based on how much resistance (mental blocks) you’re putting up.
The house that we just purchased, I’ll use attracted, has been on my wife’s and my mind for quiet some time.
When we decided that it’s time that we want to move, I immediately Read the rest of this entry »
